Earlier this month, MIND Research Institute was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to celebrate the launch of MathMINDs Games: South of the Sahara with our partners Rockwell Automation and Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS)!
We had the opportunity to share our new games during two Family Game Nights at Escuela Vieau Public School and Rogers Street Academy. Over 500 students and family members came out to share food, fun and games with volunteers from MIND, Rockwell Automation and MPS.
Over the course of both nights, we were able to give away hundreds of copies of MathMINDs Games: South of the Sahara to those who attended the events. Every family got to take a box home, so they can continue to build a friendship with math together.
None of this would have been possible without our amazing partner, Rockwell Automation. Their funding and support allowed us to take South of the Sahara from a Math Fair experience in 2015 to the storybook board games that families got to play together this past week. To celebrate the launch of the games in Rockwell Automation's local community was a rewarding experience for all.
MathMINDs Games: South of the Sahara is an experience that has been years in the making. Seeing families have fun and experience math together through play makes all of the hard work that went into developing the games worth it.
We would like to once again say thank you to our amazing partners at Rockwell Automation, whose dedication to creating the problem solvers of the future is an inspiration. Their trust and support has been unwavering, and together we created something that is truly a transformative math experience.
This is only the beginning of a new chapter for MathMINDs Games. Stay tuned, as we will have so much more to share. In the meantime, you can learn more about the games themselves, and find out how you can help us bring them to more families by visiting the MathMINDs Games website.
