Hyundai and MIND Research Institute Will Announce Major Education Initiative at US News STEM Solutions
Austin, TX, Jun 11, 2013 WHAT: Hyundai Motor America and the nonprofit MIND Research Institute will announce a major new partnership to improve math success for high-need elementary school students across the country. Early math skills are proven to be the strongest predictor of later academic success and high school graduation – even greater than early literacy or social behavior. Hyundai, which is committed to improving high school graduation rates through its charitable contributions, has previous experience supporting elementary math education by putting MIND Research Institute’s proven, game-changing ST Math instructional software program in six schools in Los Angeles, Orange County, Calif., and Washington, D.C. Their new joint initiative will be announced at the US News STEM Solutions 2013 national summit in Austin, Texas, which aims to connect the dots between science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education and careers.
