Game description: The objective of our game is to get 100 points or get close to 100 without going over 100. The player can get 100 is by adding and multiplying.

  • Target Audience: 5th grade and up or 10 years and older.
  • Lay out the board.
  • Need 1 deck of playing cards. Take out the Joker.
  • Shuffle cards and then put them on the rectangle labeled “deck.”
  • First, make sure you have only three players to play the game. Then determine who is player 1 and player 2 by rolling a dice.
  • Highest rolled number - Player 1
  • Second to highest rolled number - Player 2
  • Lowest rolled number or Doubles - Dealer. After you decide who is the dealer, the dealer gives everyone two cards including himself.
  • The first player tries to get 100 by multiplying or adding their cards.
  • Ace → Can be used as a 1 or 11. Can be used to add or multiply.
  • 2-10 → These cards have to be multiplied.
J, Q, K (face cards) → These cards are 10pts and have to be added.
If a player gets a combination of a face card with a numbered card, they can decide to either add or multiply.
    The board includes this information.
  • Now you are ready to play the game. The dealer has to ask player 1 if they got two cards that are close to 100. For example, if Player 1 gets an “Ace” and a “9”, they can multiply to get 99 since 11x9 is 99. Of if they get “10” and “9”, they would multiply to get 90. Player 1 can choose to not get “hit”and get no cards. Or, Player 1 can choose to get hit and get 2 more cards. “Hit” means the dealer gives 2 more cards.
  • If Player 1 doesn’t want to get “hit”, the dealer would go to player 2 and repeat “Do you want to get “hit”? Player 2 tries to get 100, or more points than Player 1 without going over 100. Player 2 can continue get “hit” or not “hit”.
  • If player 1 changes their mind and wants to get hit after Player 2 starts, they cannot get hit because their turn passed already.
  • The dealer plays after Player 2. The dealer has to get 80 or more. If he/she doesn’t get 80, he/she has to get hit until he/she passes 80. If the dealer passes 80, he could decide if he wants to get “hit” to try to get 100 or close to 100. If the dealer goes over 100, the dealer loses and the two players automatically win.
  • Which ever player passes 100 loses. If someone gets close to 100 like 99, they win.
For example, if both Player 1 and Player 2 go over 100, the Dealer wins.
