Game description: Math Scrabble is a board game played by two or more players and the objective of the game is to experiment and make equations on the game board using the players' number and symbol tiles. The game board has power up squares which boost the value of the equations and the player who creates an equation with the highest value wins that round!

  • Math Scrabble is a board game played by two or more players and the objective of the game is to experiment and make equations on the game board using the players' number and symbol tiles.
  • The game board has power up squares which boost the value of the equations and the player who creates an equation with the highest value wins that round!
  • The first player starts out by picking 8 tiles - 4 number tiles, 2 symbol tiles (addition multiplication subtraction or division) and 2 equal signs.
  • Using the chosen tiles, the player makes an equation on the game board.
  • The game board has regular squares as well as power up squares that have 2A, 3A, 2N and 3N marked on some squares. 2A means the answer of the equation gets multipled by 2, 3A means the answer gets multipled by 3. 2N means the number that lands on this square gets multiplied by 2 and 3N means the number that lands on this square gets multiplied by.
  • Instead of a number, if a symbol or an equal sign lands on a power up square, the number right below it or the number right to it gets multipled by 2 or 3.
  • The answer to the equation the player makes is the number of points the player gets.
  • Following this, the next player picks his tiles, makes his equation and scores points.
  • Keep track of player scores on a piece of paper. Play for an agreed number of rounds or keep playing on until all players want to stop.
  • At the end, the person with the highest total score from all rounds wins!
