West School

Game description: My game has ten levels of math problems. Your goal is to answer multiplication problems successfully to get around the board. You get 5 minutes to answer any question. Each level has a different goal. The cards are split into two piles easy and hard.  The game can take anywhere between 20 and 60 minutes the numbers range from 2 to 19,000. When you get a lap around the board, you get a token which is your train ticket, when playing a tournament [five rounds] you need to get five tickets. You have dry erase scratch paper if you want to help solve a problem in any way.

  • Youngest player goes first.
  • You pick a card and answer the problem (examples below).
  • The card has a number on it based on how hard the problem is if you answer correctly you move that many spaces forwards if you answer incorrectly you move that many spaces backwards.
  • There are also spaces with triangles and lines on them they mean to move one space forwards if you land on them.
  • This game can be played in a single round or a tournament [five rounds] each round is won by getting one token which you get by passing start.
  • If you get a question wrong at start you do not go backwards you skip your turn because you can not go backwards past start.
