Game description: Beat the Blizzard is a fraction conversion board game that provides a learning experience to children. Our goal of this game is to distribute a fun, and intelligent way to help grow knowledge of students and help remember basic skills.

One player will pick one card from the Deck of Fractions.

The player will complete the fraction equation on the card in under 45 seconds using the timer included in the game.

If the player completing the equation gets it right in under 45 seconds, they will move the designated spaces on the card.

When you move the designated spaces, and if you land on a bonus space, pick a card from the deck of bonus cards and answer the fraction word equation.

These equations are more difficult! If you get the correct answer, you get to move bonus spaces, if you get it wrong, you move back spaces. You also have 30 seconds to complete the equation which is less time than before.

Repeat numbers 1 through 3 and alternate players until everyone makes it back home!

The first person to get back, is in 1st place and the second person is in 2nd place, and so on.
