What MIND is Thankful For

Thanksgiving is known as a time for reflection and appreciation. While taking a break from helping students solve math problems, JiJi interviewed several MIND Research Institute colleagues to discover what they are thankful for this year.

“I'm thankful I walked into a classroom as a District Math Expert 5 years ago and walked out as a JiJi Believer with a new vision of how to do conceptual math education!”

Nigel Nisbet
VP of Content Creation

“I'm thankful for our partnership with McPherson Magnet. Piloting with them made our ST Math middle school release a success!”

Paul Blair
Educational Content Designer

"I’m thankful for the inspiring commitment of our partner educators to creatively engage students in learning and making sense of the world around us.”

Abby Daniels
Director of Communications

“I’m thankful to be part of a team where each team member operates at 99 miles per hour and that that commitment directly benefits children.”

Robert Paz
Community Engagement Specialist

“I am extremely thankful to be a part of an organization where I can channel my passion for education with community outreach into an incredible career.”

Dana Manners

“I’m thankful for our dependable donors and partners that support MIND Research Institute. I’m thankful for the amazing Talents we are able to attract and hire for our organization. I’m thankful for our colleagues, who are committed to relentlessly work to accomplish MIND’s mission. Go JiJi!”

Angela Bertolini

"I’m thankful every day that we can educate the world about the value of giving students the freedom to make mistakes and benefit from them as the basis of intellectual growth. A new way of thinking, a new way of doing, and inspired learning!”
