#MathAware Challenge 3: Share your Magic JiJi Square!

We kicked off Math Awareness Month with a call to create your own Magic Square à la MIND’s award-winning ST Math program. Since our “Magic JiJi Square” challenge is coming to a close, we’d like to take this opportunity to encourage you and your students to share your creations by April 18 for a chance to win JiJi goodies. We’d love to see Magic JiJi Squares from kids and grownups alike! Send us your #JiJiSquare by posting a photo/scan/screenshot on our Facebook page or by tweeting the image to @JiJiMath.

Guidelines for the #JiJiSquare challenge are available here. And below are a couple of cool Magic JiJi Squares to help you drum up ideas for your own:

The above #JiJiSquare is based on the ST Math game JiJiCycle. As you can see, each row, column and diagonal will get JiJi the penguin to the balloon platform located at the 1.5 mark.

This #JiJiSquare was inspired by MIND's BigSeed iPad app. Here, each multicolored row, column and diagonal fit together to form a 5x3 rectangle.

If you have any questions about this or the Approximating Square Roots challenge, please post a comment below. We look forward to seeing your #JiJiSquare!
