Pinnacle Consulting Group President Joins MIND Research Institute Board of Directors

Irvine, Calif., Mar 26, 2014 The MIND Research Institute has added Donald E. Garcia, president, owner and founder of Irvine-based Pinnacle Consulting Group, to its Board of Directors.

Garcia’s previous board service includes a presidential appointment to the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, where he chaired the audit and finance committee, and a gubernatorial appointment to the State Workman’s Compensation Board, where he served on the investment committee. Additionally, he chaired the fundraising and sponsorship committee of the American Cancer Society, and served on the board of the YMCA of Orange County.

A leader in the Hispanic community, Garcia is also a board member for the Orange County Hispanic 100, and previously co-chaired the National Latino Coalition Foundation, Por Mi Futuro. He has been honored for his work as a mentor to individual gang members through Santa Ana’s Project PRIDE program.

Garcia’s Pinnacle Consulting Group provides financial services to affluent families. Prior to founding Pinnacle he was among the top investment advisors for John Hancock. He has been recognized by the Million Dollar Roundtable, a trade organization for financial professionals, and has served as president of the National Association of Professional Insurance and Financial Advisors of Orange County.
